Technology and patents
When players combined completed tasks reach the necessary amount, new technologies unlock.
Unlocking technology leads to new events. Every player can bid to apply for technology patents using EVOs. The patents go to the three users with the highest bids. Any EVO bids by other players are refunded.
In addition, to avoid game monopoly and centralization of patents into a few players, Evo Surfers also operates a lottery. Only a small amount of EVO is required to participate in the lottery. The platform will draw a fixed number of lucky players from the lottery and add them to a patent benefit list. Players on the list receive rewards from the patents. However, they are much less than the three winning players in the patent bid auction.
Players can participate in both the bid auction and lottery to acquire patents.
Players who own patents receive benefits when new related jobs unlock.
